This circle serves around 7888 serving
employees of BSNL for GPF and other Loans and advances and about 5308
pensioners of BSNL and DOT.The role of the office has evolved and enlarged from a purely Government pension settlement office to that of a Government field office responsible for collecting Telecom related Government revenues from different telecom operators of U.P. (West) service area, disbursement of Universal Service subsidy for the specific telecom projects to the telecom operators approved by Department of Telecom . The office of CCA UP (West) is headed by
an SAG level officer declared as Head of the Department .
